BIDDING FAREWELL TO MSW-2012-14 BATCH

                     

                                        In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the Golden Aureole  Hall of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, the students of MSW-1^st year, staffs and management of the College bid adieu to the outgoing students of MSW-2^nd years 2012-14 batch, at a grand farewell function held here at the college campus. The Social work department has presented mementoes to the outgoing students of MSW-2^nd year.

                                         It was for the first time for the MSW-1^st year, that under the guidance of the Social work Department, a number of events were organized to mark this nostalgic moment which would go down the memory lane of the outgoing students in the years to come. Special recognition mementos (gifts) were given out to the outgoing students. The programme commenced with cordial reception of the outgoing students followed by mass prayer. Thereafter, Mr. Siju MSW-1^st year welcomed the outgoing students and the dignitaries. In a nostalgic speech, the outgoing students, reminiscence the time as a college students, the various ups and down and failures and success and stressed on the importance of College life in shaping one’s destiny. They thanked the institution and the professors for their endearing efforts in shaping up the destiny of a student and for being there when it mattered.

                                  The highlight of the function was the paper dance and of crowning of ‘various top honours in their respected field. In the special recognition there was a slide show presentation which was widely appreciated and brought tears to many present. The presentation was recollection of sweet memories of their college days. It reminded them of their yesteryears and home away from home. The programme came to an end with wishes and a sumptuous meal.
